PP carries recycling code #5 and is widely accepted in US kerbside recycling. It tolerates heat, so it is microwave- and dishwasher-safe, which is exactly what makes it reusable rather than single-use. Our deli and takeout containers are built to be washed and reused many times before they are ever recycled.
