Skewers from six to twelve inches, chopsticks twin or wrapped, cocktail picks, fruit forks and drinking straws. Bamboo earns its place here on strength, because a skewer that bows over a hot grill with meat on it has failed at the only thing it was asked to do.
Culms are cut at three to five years and the plant regrows from its own root system without replanting, a renewal rate no tree matches. Everything in the range is smoothed splinter-free, untreated and home compostable, and it covers barbecues, catering, cocktail service, picnics and party platters equally well.
