Disposable Plates & Bowls
Every plate and bowl we make comes in one of five materials, each suited to a different occasion. A wedding table, a canteen line and a puja lunch all have different needs, so choosing the right plate matters.
Areca palm leaf adds a natural, elegant touch to special occasions. Its appearance is often mistaken for wooden dinnerware.
Sugarcane bagasse is ideal for everyday, high-volume food service. It holds up well with hot, saucy foods and offers a cost-effective option.
Hand-stitched sal leaf suits traditional gatherings, cultural events and religious occasions.
HydraShield paper is designed for high-volume service on a tight budget. It uses an aqua coating instead of a plastic film.
Rice husk offers a reusable alternative designed for washing and repeated use over the years.
All five materials are plastic-free. All except rice husk are suitable for home composting. Rice husk products are designed for repeated use rather than disposal.

Questions, answered
Are these sturdy enough for a full meal?
Yes, palm leaf and bagasse handle hot, saucy and oily food without warping or leaking, far sturdier than paper.
Are they microwave and freezer safe?
Palm leaf is microwave/oven safe to 340°F for 30 min and freezer safe. Bagasse is microwave-safe. Check each product page.
How do I dispose of them?
Palm leaf, sal and bagasse are home compostable, break them up and add to compost. No liner to remove.
