Our curated kits cover the combinations most businesses ask for, but they cannot cover yours specifically. If you run a South Indian restaurant you need the compartment trays and the leak-proof containers, and very little else. If you run a coffee shop you need three cup sizes and the lids that fit them. So build the kit around what you actually serve.

We are not trying to make money on samples; we are trying to stop you buying a case of something that turns out to be wrong.
How to choose 15 products well
Most people fill their kit with many versions of the same thing, four plate sizes and four bowl sizes, and learn less than they would from a spread. The kits that answer the most questions tend to follow a pattern.
Start with the item you serve most. If ninety percent of your volume goes out on one plate, that plate has to be right before anything else matters. Take it in the size you actually use, not the size you think you might.
Then take the same format in a second material. A palm leaf plate and a bagasse plate in the same size will tell you more in one meal than either would alone. You will feel the difference in weight, rigidity and how each handles heat, and you will know within a service which one suits your food. This single comparison is the most useful thing a sample kit can do.
Add the thing you are most worried about. Everyone has one: the container that has to survive a delivery driver, the cup that has to hold hot chai without softening, the fork that bends in a biryani and embarrasses the kitchen. Put it in the kit and test it properly, because that is the item that will decide whether you switch supplier at all.
Leave a few slots for things you have not considered. A cutlery format you have not tried, a lid that removes the need for a sleeve, a leak-proof container that could replace two items you currently stock. Customers who use their last slots this way are the ones who come back and reorder something they were not looking for.
Test it the way you will use it
A sample examined on a desk tells you almost nothing. Load the plate with the dish you actually serve, and hold it flat on one hand the way a guest will. Fill the container with something hot and oily, close it, and tip it to forty-five degrees. Put the cup in a customer’s hand and ask whether it feels too hot. Cut into a dense meal with the fork and see whether it flexes.
Ten minutes of that will tell you more than any specification sheet, and it is exactly why we would rather send you a kit than a brochure. If something fails that test, tell us. We would far rather hear it now than read it in a review after you have committed to twenty cases.
