The Story
The closed-loop champion
Aluminium is the one material in our range that can be recycled endlessly with no loss of quality. Nearly three-quarters of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today because every pan, tray and sheet can become a new one, indefinitely.
Recycling aluminium takes roughly 95% less energy than making it new from ore. A foil pan collected today can be melted, rolled and back on a shelf within weeks. That short, high-value loop is why we back aluminium for bakery, roasting and hot-service work without hesitation, for jobs where a compostable material can't yet deliver oven performance.
It is also oven-safe, freezer-safe and naturally food-grade: no coatings, no plasticisers, no BPA. What it isn't is microwave-safe, and we say so plainly on every product page.

Aluminium FAQs
Questions, answered
It's sustainable in a different way. Compostables return to soil; aluminium returns to the production loop, endlessly, at about 95% less energy than new metal. For oven and holding work where compostables can't perform, that loop is the responsible answer.
No. Aluminium is oven-safe and freezer-safe, never microwave-safe. Every product page states this.
Scrape and rinse, ball loose foil so it isn't lost in sorting, and keep it in your metals stream. Clean foil and pans carry real scrap value.
Yes, food-grade, BPA-free and FDA-compliant, with documentation available to wholesale buyers on request.
Bagasse meal trays, clamshells and leak-proof takeout containers cover many of the same jobs, and balsa handles bake-in presentation. We'll help you map the switch.
