What this pack is for
Some meals are not plated. Food goes down the middle of the table on boards and platters, and everyone reaches. That kind of gathering needs serving ware more than it needs place settings, and almost no disposable range offers it.
Balsa is the lightest commercial hardwood there is, which is what lets a platter be shaped this thin and still hold a full grazing spread. The pale, even grain photographs beautifully, and it turns a table into something that looks arranged rather than laid out.
Birchwood plates and cutlery to match, so the whole table reads as one material. Everything is untreated and plastic-free, which means the platters, the plates and the crumbs all go into the same bin at the end.

Everything in this pack is untreated wood or plastic-free board, so platters, plates, cutlery and food residue all compost together. Balsa is oven-safe to 240C but never microwave.

Every item in this box, made by us
Most party packs are assembled from whatever a reseller could source that month, which is why the plate and the cutlery rarely match. We make every item in this box in our own plants, so the finish is consistent, the quantities are right, and if something is wrong, it is ours to fix rather than a conversation between three suppliers.
Questions, answered
Each pack states its guest count on the page. Options range from 25 to 150 guests. If you are between sizes, order the larger one; leftovers keep indefinitely if stored dry.
Everything for the table is included: plates, bowls, cutlery, cups and napkins. Premium packs also include a compostable bin liner, so there is nothing to sort afterwards.
Not within a pack, but you can order any item separately alongside it. Tell us what you are serving and we will say whether a different pack fits better.
That is what these are chosen for. Palm leaf and balsa both photograph well, which matters more at an event than anywhere else.
In the compostable packs, Yes, including the liner and the packaging it arrives in. Where a pack contains something that cannot carry that claim, the page says so.
