Specifications
Break the plate up and put it in a home compost bin or a garden heap. In sixty to ninety days it is soil. In a commercial facility it is faster. There is no lining to peel off first and nothing left behind, and food residue actually helps it break down - so a plate that has been used is easier to compost than a clean one, not harder.
