PLA Straws
Six and eight millimetre straws with the clarity and flex of plastic, made from fermented corn starch instead of petroleum. They hold their shape in a cold drink for as long as anyone takes to finish it, which is the one thing paper straws are still argued about.
Cafes, juice bars and smoothie counters use them where the drink is on show and the straw has to disappear into it. They are certified for industrial composting rather than home bins, and where a site has no commercial stream we will point you to paper instead.
