Cups, Lids & Straws

Compostable Options Leak-Resistant Hot & Cold Recyclable Options

Everything a drinks programme needs, hot cups, cold cups, lids and straws, in the materials that suit each job.

Paper hot cups in three wall types: single wall for short pours, double wall where a customer carries it, and ripple wall where the walk is long and you would rather not hand out a sleeve. Clear PET for cold drinks, because an iced coffee or a layered smoothie sells itself through the wall of the cup. PP water cups for the high-volume, low-drama places, hotel bathrooms, guest rooms and water coolers, individually wrapped or sleeve packed, and reusable rice husk tumblers for anywhere a plastic cup is otherwise thrown away every day. Plus plastic-free bagasse fibre lids, and straws in paper, PLA or bamboo.

All cups carry a food grade lining. The bagasse fibre lids are compostable.

Hot, cold or water? Start here

The first question is not which material, it is what the cup is for.
Cup Choose it when Why Lids
Ripple wall paper

Hot drinks a customer carries

A corrugated middle layer traps air, so no sleeve is needed, one less item on your counter.

80 mm & 90 mm, plus fibre

Double wall paper

Hot drinks, everyday service

Insulated and rigid, comfortable in the hand without a sleeve

80 mm & 90 mm, plus fibre

Single wall paper

Short pours, espresso, cold drinks

The value option. Add a sleeve for anything long and hot

80 mm & 90 mm

PET cold cup

Iced coffee, smoothies, juice

Crystal clear and shatterproof, the drink is the display.

Dome, flat, strawless lockable

PP water cup

Hotel bathrooms, guest rooms, water coolers, canteens

Rigid, economical at volume, wrapped or plain. Dishwasher safe where a property wants to reuse

—

Rice husk tumbler

Home, office kitchen, anywhere a plastic cup is thrown away daily.

Reusable. Melamine-free, survives being dropped, lasts years

—

Wrapped or sleeved? Both.

Two packing formats, because a hotel bathroom and a canteen counter are not the same job.
Format Use it for Available on
Individually wrapped Guest rooms, bathrooms, hospitals, conference venues, and in-room service. A sealed cup is a hygiene signal as much as a hygiene measure, and in some settings it is a procurement requirement rather than a preference. PP water cups · double wall and ripple wall paper cups in the larger sizes
Sleeve wrapped in bulk Water coolers, canteens, reception desks, cafe counters. Faster to restock, cheaper per cup, and an unwrapped cup is perfectly acceptable where a member of staff is handing it over. Every cup we sell, typically 100 per sleeve.

About the lining, plainly

Every paper cup we sell carries a food grade lining, which is what stops a hot drink soaking through the board. We describe it that way rather than making an end of life claim about the cup, because we would rather be accurate than optimistic.

The bagasse fibre lids are a different product and they do compost. For years the cup went one way and a plastic lid went to landfill after every single drink. The fibre lid is what fixes that half of the problem. Pair it with our cups where your customers have composting collection, and use a standard lid where they do not. Ask us and we will tell you honestly which suits your area.

BUYING GUIDE

## Single, double or ripple wall, and when a sleeve is cheaper

Side by side on heat, grease, strength, end of life and cost per unit, so you can decide on evidence rather than on which description sounded best.
Plant-based, not petroleum

The material story

Plant-based, not petroleum

Our PLA cups and straws are made from plant starch and are industrially compostable. Kraft cups are paper-based. PE-lined kraft is recyclable, not compostable, and we always label which is which.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Are PLA cups compostable at home?

PLA is industrially compostable. It needs a commercial facility, not a home compost. We label it clearly.

Which cups are for hot vs cold drinks?

Kraft single/double-wall and ripple cups are for hot drinks; PLA clear cups are for cold. Each page states the use.

Do the lids fit across cups?

Lids are sized by diameter (e.g. 90mm). Match the lid to the cup's rim size shown on each product page.

Hosting? There is a pack for that.

Everything for 25 to 150 guests in one box, and in our Premium packs the bin liner composts too, so there is nothing to sort afterwards.
